By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
For purposes of this Policy, “Customer Data” means all data, documents, images, files, information, text, and other content and materials that are provided by you to ReadyToSign for processing in connection with your use of the Services.

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
1.1 Account Information.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide during registration.
1.2 Documents and Customer Data.
When you use our Services, you may upload documents and other files for processing. We collect and store these documents to provide our document preparation and field-tagging services. We process your documents solely to perform the features you request and do not use the content of your documents for any purpose other than providing the Services, except as described in Section 3.2.
1.3 Payment Information.
If you purchase a subscription, our third-party payment processor collects your payment card information, billing address, and related details. ReadyToSign does not directly store your full payment card numbers.
1.4 Communications.
When you contact us for support, provide feedback, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the content of those communications along with any associated metadata (e.g., time and date).
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect certain information, including:
2.1 Log and Usage Data.
Our web servers automatically record information when you visit our website or use our platform, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, date and time of access, and other standard web server log information.
2.2 Device Information.
We collect information about the device you use to access the Services, including hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and network information.
2.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies.
We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with our Services. 3.1 Providing and Improving the Services.
We use your information to operate, maintain, and provide you with the features and functionality of the Services, including document upload, storage, AI-powered field tagging, and export capabilities.
3.2 AI and Machine Learning.
We use de-identified and aggregated data derived from your use of the Services — including field tag placements, modifications, additions, deletions, and other interactions with the platform’s tagging functionality — to train, improve, and refine our AI models, algorithms, and field-tagging accuracy. This data is stripped of personally identifiable information and cannot be used to reconstruct your original documents. We do not use the content of your uploaded documents to train AI models.
3.3 Account Administration.
We use your information to manage your account, process transactions, send you technical notices and support messages, and respond to your requests and inquiries.
3.4 Communications.
We may use your information to send you service-related communications, such as updates, security alerts, and administrative messages. With your consent or where otherwise permitted by applicable law, we may also send you promotional communications about our products and services.
3.5 Safety and Security.
We use your information to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities, to protect the rights and property of ReadyToSign and others, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
3.6 Legal Compliance.
We use your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
4. How We Share Your Information
ReadyToSign does not sell your personal information or Customer Data. We do not share Customer Data with other customers. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers.
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
- (1) Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services);
- (2) Payment processors for subscription billing;
- (3) Analytics providers;

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including to complete transactions, maintain records, and enforce our agreements.
6.3 Communications Opt-Out.
You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each promotional email or by contacting us at support@readytosign.ai. Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you service-related messages necessary for the operation of your account.
6.4 Cookies.
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can usually modify your browser settings to remove or reject cookies. Please note that removing or rejecting cookies may affect the availability and functionality of our Services.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Customer Data is stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security and confidentiality of your information.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not operated or controlled by ReadyToSign. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our Services.
9. Children
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. 10. Information for European Territory Residents
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland (collectively, the “European Territory”), the following additional provisions apply to you:
10.1 Legal Basis for Processing.
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- (1) Contract performance: Processing necessary to perform our contract with you, including providing and maintaining the Services;
- (2) Legitimate interests: Processing necessary for our legitimate interests, including improving our Services, training our AI models with de-identified data, fraud prevention, and security;
- (3) Consent: Processing based on your consent, such as for marketing communications; and
- (4) Legal obligation: Processing necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
10.2 Your Rights.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
- (1) Access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
- (2) Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- (3) Erase your personal data under certain circumstances;
- (4) Restrict or object to the processing of your personal data;
- (5) Data portability — receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format; and
- (6) Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

10.3 Data Retention.
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Territory, including the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. When we transfer personal data outside the European Territory, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
10.5 Supervisory Authority.
If you are located in the European Territory, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable law.
11. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
For non-paying customers, if there is no activity in your account for six (6) months or more, ReadyToSign reserves the right to deactivate your account and delete data from your account in accordance with Section 5.4 of our Terms of Service.
De-identified and aggregated data used for AI model training and service improvement may be retained indefinitely, as such data cannot be used to identify you.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
